Mike Hagy


Mikes career in law enforcement spans over 30 years from working several years in patrol; two years as a detective, two years as a Sergeant in charge Investigation, Crime Prevention, Records and Dispatch Operations, while working for the University of Texas Health Science Center PD in San Antonio. He then became the Patrol Command at The University of Texas in San Antonio, where he obtained the Rank of Captain. In 1999 he left this University to become the Chief of Police with Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. He served as Chief of Police from June 1999 until April 2010. During his Career Mike achieved Master Police Officer certification, he was a licensed Instructor, and Crime Prevention Certified.


After Mikes Police Career he spent six years working with LE Agencies, while working as the Director of Criminal Justice Services for Nortex with Regional Planning Commission, where he worked with Law enforcement agencies obtaining Grants to assist the purchases of equipment and supplies.
